Kyrie Shetland Sheepdogs

11-17-10 Boca is finished!!!  Back to back 5 pt majors.  Ch Kyrie Attridge Bi Blackness  There are not enough thank you's in the world for Becky Johnson and Janet Nurse for their expert care and presentation of Boca Grande.  In 31 years I have never had a dog win back to back majors.   Check out Nicholas's new ad on Everything Sheltie.  I posted a copy on his page.

11-9-10  Good news and bad new.  Saki had two puppies for Debbie, but had to have a    c-section on Sunday.  The blue girl is doing great, but they are having to supplament the tri girl.  Juno had 5 blues for Judy on Monday; 3 girls and 2 boys.  All those puppies are doing well.  Nola has gone to her new home and Izzy will be off to Allison's to have her litter.  It will be just me and the boy at home soon.   I am going to take a breeding and showing sabatical for a year or two.  I will still post stories and updates from my dogs other places and of course of the best dog ever- Nicholas.  :)

10-28-10  I have decided to place Nola, I think she can make pretty puppies, but will not be competative in the show ring.  Izzy is going to Michigan to have puppies for her co-breeder Allison Gilbert.  Juno is in Hawaii.  Boca will be out with Becky Johnson until the middle of December.  So if I can get a wonderful home for Nola, the beginning of December it could be just me and Nicholas at home.

9-27-10  Boca- Kyrie Attridge Bi Blackness was WB Saturday Sept 25th at the Iowa City Specailty for a 4pt major!!  Thank you Becky Johnson!!

Her son Petey was RWD at the same show.  Not bad for mother and son.

9-10-10 Kyle emailed the picture of the siblings winning at the same show.  'Sophie' has gone on a couple of weekends later to go BOB over specials.  Thank you Kyle and David for all of your hard work.  And exceptional handler Becky Johnson for not just Petey but for showing his naughty mother Boca too.

Littermates Kyrie Sophisitcation and Attridge National Pastime going WB and WD

9-9-10 'Nicholas' finished last Friday 9-3-10.  He is now Am/Can Ch Attridge National Treasure.  And two puppies from his first litter are pointed.  Not bad for the just turned two year old dog with only two litters on the ground.

6-30-10 Summertime.  Nicholas's first litters turned 5 months old a week ago.  It is time for dad to go and get finished.  No puppies planned for a while.  Thank goodness!

4-14-10 Busy last 6 weeks!!!  Puppies to evaluate, try and get picutures of and place.  Here are some pictures of Nicholas' first litters:

Tri male x Kryie Argos Enchanted

Tri male X Kyrie Attridge Bi Blackness

Tri male x Enchanted

Tri female x Enchanted  This little girl is still looking for a pet home.

Hopefully more pictures next week.

3-2-10 Less than two weeks until Nationals.   Friends, sun, margaritas............

2-17-10  I posted video of the puppies on my blog  http://kyrieshelties.blogspot.com/

2-17-10  Nicholas won his second major at the Indianapolis Specialty this last weekend.  This gives him 8 pts, both majors.  woo hoo!

2-1-10  Litter three is here.  Paris had 2 puppies early Sunday morning.  A bi-black girl, a bi-blue boy.   No blue girls.  Eleven puppies and not a single blue girl.  I am grateful that all the mothers and puppies are doing well, but oh so disappointed that the one thing I was breeding for did not appear.   Hope to have baby pictures this week.

1-28-10  Two of the litters are here!  Boca has a litter of 5 born 1-24-10.  Three tri boys, one tri girl, and one cryptic blue boy.  Kiva had her litter yesterday the 27th.  Two tri girls, one tri boy and one blue boy.   If anyone needs a non-white factored tri male- boy to I have a few for you to pick from!  Paris is due in a couple of days- please some blues?  Please some girls?

Cullen aka Edward did well out in Portland- no points, but showed well and Pam said he made a good impression with the local breeders - which is better than winning.

1-12-10  Nicholas is now a specailty winner and major pointed!  5 pts with a major on his 2nd weekend of shows since coming back from finishing in Canada.

12-22-09  I palpated puppies in Boca last night- hurray!  Now if Kiva and Paris take it will be wonderful.  And totally crazy around my house.  3 litters at the same time?  Yes, nuts, but that will be it for the year.  If I am blessed with puppies, they will be 6-7 weeks old when I go to Nationals.  My poor dog sitter- that is a lot of puppy papers to change.

12-18-09  I am so lucky- I have found incredable homes for both Patty and Edward.  More info later when I have some time.  I will need to update pages, etc.

12-7-09 Thank you to Amy Massey for these beautiful pictures of Edward!

12-2-09 Finally- something to report on!  All three of the girls I was going to breed this year all came in season.  All at the same time!   Paris is bred to Val- a repeat of Ch Argos Dreams Collide.  Both Kiva and Boca are bred to Nicholas.  I am extremely excited about all 3 litters.  I wonder if I will still feel that way after cleaning puppy papers after a long day at work???  All litters are due the last week in Jan 2010.

I am off to Amy's house this weekend to try and take pictures.  Wish us luck!

9-11-09  I started a blog.  www.kyrieshelties.blogspot.com/      Probably goofy pictures of the dogs and friends and hockey.

9-12-09 Planing a trip to pick up Nicholas from his breeder Bev Klassen.  Check out his new page.

9-9-09  The Iowa City Specalty is right around the corner, Saturday September 19th.  I entered Edward to support the entry, even though he doesn't have a stitch of hair.  Mama Boca is entered also, humm.... who can I talk into showing the demon child?

9-5-09 The club held their annual eye exam- CERF clinic today.  I put all 6 of my dogs in the new Jeep and off to Amy's house we went.  All 6 dogs tested clear- always nice to get that done and over with for the year.

7-27-09  Current pictures of Roary.   We think he is going to be exceptional.

7-15-09 Two of the show prospects from the Boomer x Kiva litter.  Brother Brandon is available as a companion on our available page.   UPDATE:  Brandon has a new home.

OJ is going to live with his older brother in Michigan.   We hope to get some good puppy pictures this weekend when I visit Allison - www.argosshelites.com

'Kiva' has a 6 week old litter sired by Ch Ihne Thunder and Roar.  All three look promising.

A 3rd repeat is planned of the 'Val' x 'Paris' litter, stay tuned.

'Edward' was runner up to Best in Sweep his first time in the ring at 6 months and a week old.  Not bad for a puppy I tried to put in a pet home.
